The idea of characters remembering moments from previous timelines in their dreams is super interesting, but itโs real easy to heap all of that onto Sans (for understandable reasons), so this time Toriel gets some confusingly sad dreams~
okay I kind of cheated for this day because Iโve already shared the second image here, as these are panels from the Day 7 lyric comic :D;; The lyrics for this part of the song (which Iโm still keeping secret for now) mention dancing, and given how pressed for time Iโve been it seemed silly to draw these three panels and a fourth image on the same theme.
Also thereโs no deep meaning behind Toriel having a poppy around her horn other than a) it looked nice with her outfit and b) poppies are my mumโs favourite flower, so I tend to view poppies as a Mum Flowerโข
My immediate response to this prompt was โdamn it I already drew the perfect thing for this last yearโ, and I was stuck on what to draw for it for ages until I realised I could just draw a sequel in which Sans is slightly less on the brink of death.
I was feeling kind of underwhelmed with how this looked while I was shading it so I threw some fancy lighting over it and hoped for the best o/;;
After 3 Soriel arts and 1 Alphyne art I ran out of ideas for yet another generic pretty Outerswap picture, so instead you get this nonsense. At least I finally got day 6 of a Soriel Week done on time for once :โD
