OKAY some MSA Hellbent things that I have to talk about

BECAUSE THIS

is like Mystery being caught in the act of cheating. in a relationship, friendship, power contract, or whatever his history was with shiromori-

she even blushes hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

From what we can tell of the flashbacks

They had a pretty good relationship. With her name meaning “white Forest” and the difference of the state of the forest in the pictures above and below we can see that Mystery helped her grow powerful.

And then teaming up against the samurai- an ancestor of vivi? (notice the vines around her wrists)

And also note the mask and sword- a dead family member? Either way-

it ended badly for shiromori (the dead vines in the bottom)

Then comes the blank spot of how Mystery came to be with vivi. EVEN mystery just explains it to shiromori with an “ITS COMPLICATED” shrug. Maybe penance for killing the owner of the helmet and sword? All we can do is hope that it gets explained in the next video.

Well, not exactly, but she’s related to one.

According to the wiki, Vivi’s last name, Yukino, translates to “Snowy Fields.” Now look at the ninja’s sword. It’s decorated with snowflakes. 

Not enough proof?

This is her Grandma:

I’m not saying her grandma is the ninja, because then she would have to be hundreds of years old, which seems unlikely. But her clothes do show that her family has a strong Japanese heritage.

And I guess blue scarfs are a family tradition?

Also, on a side note, this isn’t Mystery.

The kitsune here has 9 tails. Mystery only has 7 tails. 

Most likely the kitsune who created Shiromori was his father or mother.

That’s all I want to add, for now.

In summary, Mystery Skulls Animated is an anime in disguise.

Hellbent was amazing! So much Lore was packed into it and I have a few theories on the whole matter. I might make a post about it another time! Rn just enjoy some of these awesome screenshots i got from the video!

Did Vivi know/know of Shiromori before?

This is the face of someone who looks like they’ve heard of her and find her fascinating I bet

I’m sure some of her excitement is ‘woah I just did that!’ But like look at the stars in her eyes, starstruck if you will, she might have heard about her in legands or something, I don’t think she actually met her before, but she definitely knows who she is
