So I just noticed something interesting about the new Hazbin Hotel clip. I didn’t notice in my first run through, but in “Inside Of Every Demon Is A Rainbow,” this part comes up during the “cretins, thots, and losers” part:
Specifically, Charlie calls whoever this is the loser, and looks pretty damn happy about it. Not in a more affectionate way like the other people she’s talks about in the song, she legit looks smug and thrilled about calling whoever this is a loser (who obviously isn’t happy about it either).
Now, look at these screenshots from today’s clip:
The (probably?) same person is in this picture (although the outfit is a little different, they do look similar enough), along with a few other people. Considering that Charlie’s family (whether those are both her parents, siblings, w/ever) is in the picture, we can assume that whoever this person is, they’re connected to Charlie and her family somehow. A cousin? A sibling? Competition with Charlie’s family in some way?
Note though, I’ve only gotten into Hazbin Hotel in the last year or so, so I don’t know if this is a named character with a backstory, but I just thought it was interesting how this same person Charlie (smugly) calls a loser also appears in photos in her home
