You said 1933 was when things went to hell (I’m assuming that means when Joey started sacrificing employees and turning them into inky beings) but I thought that was the year when Henry left the studio? (Since Mike said that was “30 years ago”) And I doubt Henry’s departure and things going to hell all happened within the same year bc I don’t think it’s possible that Heavenly Toys, Bendy Land, the Ink Machine, etc. were all built within such a short amount of time

Which would be 1933 according to Mike. Of course, he does say approximately – I don’t think Joey meant 30 years on the nose exactly when he was writing his letter, just 30-some-odd-years.
