everyone posting caps from this scene is leaving out the end so it’s time to face facts that she’s right you cowards and normalizing things through fiction and media has an impact on society whether it intends to or not

Its quite ironic that a show like Bojack Horseman (an A+ example in shitty behaviours) give me a class of normalization of shitty behaviours.

I think that an important part of this issue is what viewers perceive as right or wrong according to their own codes; if a tv show depicts scenes of extreme violence, a viewer has the power to decide how to approach said content instead of being swallowed by it.

that’s exactly why they did this. they realized that even though they were painting all these things as bad it was still normalizing the behavior itself so they took a step back, said “simply saying this is bad isn’t enough,” and for once left a season with bojack committing to self improvement instead of wallowing in his self loathing about all the lives he’s ruined
